The details
The numbers behind each section above. Prices are in GBP, outside the UK you'll see and pay in your local currency at checkout. There are no contracts. Cancel any time and it stops at the end of the billing period, every subscription has its own Cancel button on that product's tab of your account page.
Plus
What's in it. Standard on Windows while it runs, the Linux edition on three machines, a relay with no player limit and 1TB of relay data a month (512GB in Australia, 250GB in Singapore), a custom address or your own domain, 16GB of cloud storage for backups and packs, DDoS protection built in and 20 crash diagnoses a month.
What that replaces. Bought one at a time the same things are Standard at £1.99 once, the Linux edition at £12 a year, a relay for sixteen at £1.50 a month and 16GB of cloud storage at £1.49 a month, four purchases across three subscriptions. A yearly Plus costs less than any two of those subscriptions together. The relay in it has no player cap and takes your own domain, which no piece on its own does.
Yearly is the deal. £24 a year works out at £2 a month, two months free against monthly. A yearly Plus runs to the end of the year you've paid for, monthly just stops at the end of the month you've paid for. Inside the first 14 days of a first payment you can have the unused days back.
No player cap on Plus. Bring as many people as your PC can handle, the relay won't be what stops you. What it does have is a monthly data allowance, 1TB on Plus in Europe and the United States, 512GB on Plus in Australia, 250GB on Plus in Singapore. 1TB is roughly 24 players online around the clock for a whole month. You can see exactly where you are on your account page, we email you at 80% and if you ever hit it the relay pauses until the 1st.
Extra relays on Plus. Running more than one server? Each extra relay on your Plus is £1.50 a month or £18 a year and it's a Plus relay, no player limit, its own name, your own domain. Add one from the relay form on your account page. A bigger storage size on Plus costs only the difference: 64GB in total for £1.99 a month, 256GB for £4.99.
The app
Lite and Standard. Lite is free: every server type, mods and modpacks, up to 3 servers at 8GB RAM each, 6 hour sessions then a 2 hour wait, 5 crash diagnoses included. Standard is the full app for £1.99 once: no session limits ever, unlimited servers, the web dashboard, schedules, webhooks and proxies, the API with keys from your account page, crash diagnosis that names the cause and fixes it with 20 included, plus every future update.
Don't buy Standard with a relay. Any relay subscription, Starter or Plus, includes everything Standard does for as long as it runs, so buying both separately is never necessary. Buy Standard on its own when the app is all you want, or you want it kept whatever happens to a subscription. The features Lite doesn't include are the remote web dashboard, scheduled restarts and tasks, Discord and webhook notifications, automatic backups when a server stops, proxy networks and the API.
A relay
The three sizes. Free is a relay for you and three friends on an address we pick, a word from the game and a number on play.mcservermanager.com, 4 players at once, 10GB of data a month, in Europe and the United States. Starter is the relay on its own with room for sixteen, 250GB of data a month, a custom address for your server and 1GB of cloud storage. Plus is the relay with no player limit and your own domain. Every one gets the same network and the same DDoS protection, the price is the same in every region.
Free is the whole relay, for four. Same network, same protection, same address format, just an address we pick and four players at once. One per account. It runs while your server does, stops when the server stops and comes straight back when you start it again. When a fifth friend turns up they're told the relay is full and who can lift that, which is you, with Starter or Plus.
Standard comes with both. Any relay subscription includes the paid app features, like unlimited session time, for as long as you're subscribed. If you'd rather own Standard outright it's £1.99 once and it stays yours, whatever happens to the relay. Pick Europe, Australia, the United States or Singapore (in beta) when you set the relay up, the price is the same everywhere and you can move it later without your address changing. Starter has a monthly data allowance of 250GB everywhere.
For Linux
What you get. Three machines connected at once, every server type with mods, modpacks and backups, the full web dashboard with extra users and the API, the same features as the Windows app. Cancel any time. The first week is free: you put a card in at the start and nothing is charged until the week is up.
Already on Plus? It's included. A Plus subscription covers the Linux edition on up to three machines for as long as it runs, so there's nothing to buy here. £12 a year is for a Linux box on its own, the VPS user with a public IP who doesn't need a relay.
Three hours to change your mind. Ask within a week of paying, having run servers for under 3 hours in total, then your £12 comes back. Your account page shows how much of that you've used, so there's nothing to argue about.
Cloud storage
Storage or Plus. 16GB is £1.49 a month on its own, or it comes in Plus at £2.49 a month next to a relay, Standard and Linux. If storage is the only thing you want, buy the 16GB. If you'd use any of the rest, buy Plus. Worlds and modpacks share one allowance. A bigger plan replaces what you have rather than adding to it, so a Plus subscriber pays the difference: 64GB in total for £1.99, 256GB in total for £4.99. Relay Starter includes 1GB and you can add 4GB to a Starter relay for 99p a month. Local backups in the app stay free either way, this is for keeping a copy off your PC.
Refunds
If something doesn't work as described, email support@mcservermanager.com, give us a fair chance to fix it and if we can't, you get your money back. Standard switches on the moment you pay, so it isn't refunded for a change of mind. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and run to the end of what you've paid for. Inside the first 14 days of a first payment you can have the unused days back. After that a yearly Plus runs to the end of its year. The Linux edition has its own rule, a week and under 3 hours of use, above. Bought the wrong thing? We swap it rather than refund it. Full terms.
